deCoding Asian Urbanism: Exhibition
January 9, 2022
An immersive exhibition on deCoding Asian Urbanism organized by the A+D Architecture and Design Museum > Los Angeles will open at the Helms Design Center in Culver City on January 30, 2022. The exhibition builds on collaboration with the Art Center College of Design, the Bengal Foundation, and Harvard University. The exhibition immerses the visitor in the Asian city through evocative films by film-maker Miriam Kuhlmann and presents transformational projects that act as urban acupuncture to revitalize, renew, and transform the complex urban fabric. The project is curated by British historian Professor Kenneth Frampton, Malaysian ecologist and architect Ken Yeang, and Los Angeles-based urban designer Farooq Ameen.
