OPEN POSITIONS:
Intermediate Designer
We are seeking a highly motivated architect/designer who is enthusiastic about creating distinctive architectural buildings and communities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecture and project management skills and can collaborate with multiple consultant teams in a fast-paced environment. The position offers ample growth opportunities for an organized candidate who can manage diverse tasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture and preferably a post-professional degree in Architecture or Urban Design or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 4-5 years experience with architecture design projects.
- Demonstrated experience in all phases of architectural design, construction documents, and construction administration.
- Knowledge of building and planning codes.
- Strong project management skills and ability to meet budgets and schedules.
- Excellent design, visualization, and graphic skills with the ability to graphically communicate design concepts.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines when necessary.
- Proficiency in Revit, Rhino, Bluebeam, Adobe Suite, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office is required. Rendering proficiency in Enscape, and V-Ray is also preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Schematic Design, Design Development and Construction Documents
- Project Management including coordination with consultants and clients program manager.
- Control of design during the documentation phase and the ability to resolve technical/design issues and develop details as needed.
- Coordination and verification of materials finishes and details.
- Collaboration with other architects and engineers for the purpose of explaining and interpreting architectural standards, codes, or regulations.
- Review of shop drawings submitted by contractors to determine if program requirements and architectural standards have been met.
- Proactively prepare, maintain, and distribute an active log of all ongoing action items Submissions, RFIs, specifications and Submittals.
- Conduct material and product research as required for project development.
- Participate in QA/QC reviews (peer and self) and review for all phases of submissions, providing red-marked drawings. Make corrections based on the received QA/QC review.
