Clippers’ Inglewood Arena Receives Final Approval From City

The Los Angeles Clippers’ Inglewood Basketball and Entertainment Center received final approval from the Inglewood City Council Tuesday and will begin construction next summer. The project includes the Plaza Buildings designed by City Design Studio. The project is expected to break ground in the summer of 2021 and will open for the start of the 2024-25 NBA season. The “world-class campus” will include an 18,000-seat basketball arena that is set within an open, indoor-outdoor atmosphere and will serve as a hub that brings the Clippers organization together.
