KING FAHD CITY CENTER URBAN DESIGN PLAN
The King Fahd City Center on the Red Sea creates a dynamic and thriving development for Madinat Yanbu AI-Sinaiyah (MYAS), harnessing the lessons drawn from existing vibrant waterfronts. The scheme is designed to create a complete environment, rivaling the quality of the highest international standards while respecting regional cultural values. The plan sets a regional standard with fully integrated living, working, and leisure activities. The plan is a development-focused concept that reinforces the city’s continued commercial growth. With this new project, the city will catapult itself into the leadership of the Arabian red sea’s economic & touristic life.
The urban design plan provides a versatile framework for the long term development of the site and will continue through a gradual process of refinement. As individual development proposals are designed, each can be incorporated into the master plan as necessary while ensuring the functionality and quality of the environment is maintained throughout the development process. The City Center will be the new heart of the Madinat Yanbu AI-Sinaiyah and has been emerging and developing for decades. The City Center will be the major focal point of the waterfront developments, “the jewel of the necklace.”
