GRAND PANORAMA
The Grand Avenue Arts / Bunker Hill station area is located on a topographically complex, irregular geometry site with challenging buildability adjacent to the proposed Regional Connector station. The proximity to the internationally recognized Disney Concert Hall and the Broad Museum make it an inherently desirable address. The tower geometry and articulation seeks to maximize downtown views, especially views of the Iconic Disney Hall.
The proposed design illustrates one of the numerous configurations possible for building height and articulation, unit mix, and ground-level program. Podium level urban plaza and open space connect to the proposed pedestrian bridge that connects to the station and the Broad Museum and continues to the existing network of open spaces including Grand Park. The pool deck and other amenities for residents at upper levels overlooking the plaza can vary depending on how the façade is articulated. Parking is provided at multiple levels, accessible from Flower Street and 3rd Street.
