Ty Miller is a registered architect in the State of California with over 45 years experience specializing in the design and planning of successful retail and entertainment projects. Ty  holds a Master Degree in Urban Design and a Bachelor Degree in Architecture, both from the University of Southern California. He was a faculty member at the Southern California Institute of architecture (SCI-ARC) from 1979 to 1986, and a past Visiting Critic at U.S.C., Otis-Parsons, Cal Poly Pomona and UCLA. During his graduate studies, 

Ty was awarded fellowships from the Graham Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts for his work with the City Building Educational Program, which introduced architectural/urban based curriculums into various Los Angeles County public schools. He was also awarded a Merit Award for Design Excellence from the International Council of Shopping Centers in 1990 for The Marketplace, Alhambra CA and again in 1998 for The Manteca Marketplace, Manteca CA.  He  has participated in the conceptual design and planning of the Plaza retail buildings  at the Inglewood Basketball and Entertainment Center. In the past, he was involved in the planning and design for several completed projects, including Westfield UTC in La Jolla CA; Westfield Stratford City in Olympic Park, London, England; Westfield Connecticut Post in Milford CT; Westfield Santa Anita in Arcadia CA; and West County in St. Louis MO.
